The Royal Fail

Yeah I hate the Post Office.
They couldn't deliver my parcel, because it was too big for my letterbox apparently. Well, can I just say, BOTH OF THE OTHER TIMES THEY DELIVERED A POSTER, IT WAS FINE. And I know it's a poster because that's the only other thing I've ordered. So ok, I thought right well today I'll collect it from the Post Office - after failing to get it on Monday, because the Post Office closes at 1PM everyday on a weekday. And it closes at 12 on a Saturday, not being open on Sunday.

Would someone please like to tell me how this is, in any way, a convenient window of time for people to go and collect parcels. I can't do it before school - not enough time. I can't do it after, because it's already closed. I can't do it on a Sunday, I HAVE to do it on Saturday. And they give me three weeks to get it. By next week it will be 17 days since I got my little undelivered card. Now if they've sent it back early I will be pissed off. They better mean full weeks, of seven days each. If they don't, there will be hell to pay I'm telling you.

So generally the Post service sucks. I can't tell you how pissed off I am with it at the moment - and it's not my fault, either, that any of this has happened. They CAN get that poster through the letterbox; they've done it before. And I need mum to get back before 12 on a Saturday so I can actually get down there and get it. Fine, next weekend I'm going by myself. =| I can't be doing with waiting around for her.

And another thing is that there's this courier that has to come and pick up something I'm returning because it's too small; honestly, on the site they didn't tell me the sizes were AGED not proper SIZES so when I pick size ten I don't expect to get AGE ten. =| You know, what is the deal with that. So I specify the day when they can come and pick it up - but what I have to do is WAIT ALL DAY for them, because I don't want them coming in the house and they don't even tell me when it's going to be collected. It's fine for delivery on their part - they actually say before 1PM or after 1PM but for pick-ups its shit. :|

There is something dreadfully wrong and inconvenient about the whole thing of post.
