Busy-ness.

I recently started reading http://threepixelpushers.com/, a blog run by three of my forum buddies who are all into web design. One of the posts there made me realize how busy I am sometimes! I have college work, writing for a blog, writing personally, doing arty things, making jewellery... but luckily for me I never forget to take some time for myself, doing stuff which isn't constructive - playing video games, for example ;).

I've never been much of an arranged extra-curricular person, but I do have hobbies. Perhaps too many, I sometimes wonder, because sometimes it's difficult to allocate enough time to each one, and other times I just don't feel like writing when I really want to indulge in some art. I'm sure that keeping myself busy and discovering new ways of doing that has emerged from boredom, interest and discovery of talent. And keeping yourself busy is a good way to fill up the slots in your day and work out how to organise your time. I know how to make myself motivated, how to keep time well, and how to prioritise - and I'd put it down to the hobbies I keep, about as much as the usual things like school work have taught me the same thing.
